19- 20 March 2015 – CeBIT in Hannover

It was great to be part of CeBIT 2015 this year- world’s largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. Deutsche Messe AG has organized CeBIT in Hannover each spring since 1986. This year, more than 3.300 companies from 70 countries exhibited at CeBIT 2015.

Presenting the FalconStor new products outside the ordinary fair hall in the Roadshow Truck was a great experience for all our colleagues on site as well as for all our customers. Also a lot of curious visitors took the chance to shoot a picture of the impressive Truck in Colani design!

18. March 2015 – Frankfurt

Despite the fact that Frankfurt was a burning city because of rioting the official European Central Bank (ECB) opening at 18th of March, we found a very peaceful and centrally located parking slot for our Roadshow Truck at the Jahrhunderthalle. See the difference :

We had a huge amount of people coming from whole Germany to the central city, checking the sophisticated FreeStor and the renewed 8 Versions of NSS and OBD. No one had a Molotow-Cocktail in the bag ;-). The Colani Truck was still able to visit the two last days of CeBIT 2015 in Hannover.

11. March 2015 – Paris

Last Wednesday our truck stopped in Paris – the biggest urban area in Europe.  We set up our show room at INSEP (National Institute of Sport and Physical Education) where the top French athletes train. There, we had the opportunity to meet our French business partners and customers. The green backdrop of the football fields gave our event a kind of a “sporty and free” touch, perfectly matching FalconStor’s “Be Free” message.

9. March 2015 – Luxembourg

Deep in the middle of  Europe in lovely, sunny and warm Luxembourg, situated in the center of Europe in the so-called European “Gold Triangle” between Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam, we had our next communications with  customers and business partners in three different languages! One could really feel the cultural diversity of Europe in a such a small city 🙂

Brussel, Belgium’s capital and home to some of the world’s best chocolate 🙂 was the 10th location of our EMEA roadshow.  In the early morning hours, at the Stade Roi Baudouin (King-Baudouin-Stadium), the FalconStor Truck was already there waiting for the first guests, who were excited about the FreeStor product news!

Interested and motivated  partners  and customers had been  very impressed of the Truck and the new FalconStor solutions. Next stop  will be in Düsseldorf on tuesday…

ramp-up time in Düsseldorf was as usual and we planned to start at 10am as usual but we found People already trying to enter the Truck before that time – a real luxury problem we love to deal with 🙂 We had a lot of traction at this location inc. endusers from the broadcasting, cloud providers and municipal service area as well as many others. Nearly all questions were answered to perfection and people are really looking forward to get FreeStor.

As a sidenote: We had to repair a server filesystem due to some power outages in Hannover but even that couldn´t stop us showing FreeStor to the world! We´re now about to leave Germany for a while so Brussels will be our next stop – cu there!
